Christmas at the HOMESTEAD

Pat, Vernon, Carrie and I celebrated a couple days during Christmas at the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va. This trip for us was a gift from our children Tom, Annette,Liz and Chas. The resort is beautiful, restful, and the food fabulous! We loved it! Thank you, precious children!

Gracie picked up my Bible, sat on the floor and proceeded to hold forth about Jesus and how to pray!! She kept questioning us, "Do you know about God?" What do we have here?????? The Grandmother's ok with this because Gracie also loves to dance!

Gracie went to her first Virginia Christmas Spectacular! She loved it but when she got home she couldn't find her Papa and cried! But Papa returned! She and Papa have a "thing" going!! (And the Grandmother is trying hard not to be too jealous.)

Virginia Christmas Spectacular

Carrie, Annette and Stella went to the Christmas Spectacular at Thomas Road Wed. night. Wow!!! Did Stella LOVE it, to say the least!! She was literally dancing in the aisle...from start to finish!! She was precious and her Grandmother loved watching her.

Gracie Rose came to visit Papa & Nana today! She's growin' up too fast! She sleeps in a real bed and argues like an adult but we love her anyway! And yes, those curls are real!!!!!

Gracie just ask her Mom to pull over in the car so that she could peepee in the grass of "anyone's" yard! This has become a regular thing ever since her Mom let her peepee in the leaves at the lake. This is one "outdoor" girl. Her Mom told her she could go to jail for this and her response was "I think I can hold it til I get home"!!
